 Locate the System Tray in the lower right-hand corner of your Windows screen. |
 Right-click on the V-Shield Icon to display the context menu. |
 Left-click the "About" option. |
 If the "Created on:" date is more than one week old then follow the remaining procedures to update, otherwise, you are within limits on safety. |
 Right-click the VirusScan Console Icon to display the context menu. |
 Left-click on "Restore" to display the Console menu. |
 Right-click on AutoUpdate to display the context menu. |
 Left-click on "Start" to download and install the latest virus definitions. |
 Watch the screen for "Processing", "Installing", and "Confirmation". |
